  1. Hi !

This is my first post on this board, so i'm gonna introduce myself...

I'm Foolk, 25 years old, and i live in Clermont-Ferrand, in France.

I just bought an Heritage H-140 (2007). It's a very nice guitar !.. I will post some pictures and samples in the next week.

I'm proud to be part of this club, and glad to see an online community !

    Howdy all!

I have just adopted a beautiful H535 from HOC member tulk1, my first Heritage. As an incurable addict of anything with strings on it, I probably shouldn't be a member here. I know you guys will try to persuade me to buy more Heritage guitars.

I confess it's a Collings in my profile pic and a tele in my avatar, but sooner or later the Heritage will come out at a gig and I'll fix those little problems.

    Dave

    Ozark, MO

Welcome to the HOC, Foolk ( in France ) and stringfever ( in MO ) ..

We love pics , so we'd love to see your 140 , Foolk . And I believe we've seen your new 535 , stringfever.. although it's such a beauty that we'd always like to see more of it.

  3. Hello,

I'm John, I live in Alaska and I own a Heritage 480 (acoustic model #HFT-480-N). I purchased the guitar in 1992 when I was 18. I still play the guitar and the tone has gotten much warmer over the years. Does anyone out there have one of these guitars or know much about them?

Hello and welcome , John in Alaska.

There are several that own Heritage acoustics here, though they are fairly rare.

You may want to ask the question in the Heritage section... but be ready, we can't help but ask to see some pics of yours... (we love to see pics of various Heritage guitars)

  4. Hi everyone!

Most people know me as Ken. I spend the day as a builder of cool stuff for guitar players.

This work of mine has led me to meet many unbelievavble musicians and see and hold lots of cool gear.

One of my friends and a avid HOC member is Yoslate. He has shared many of his experiences at the pilgrage and

let me see his Heritage guitars. This started a desire to have one.

For the past weeks anoyher friend picked up a deal on a 94 H150Cm vsb with plans to just flip it.

I am now the owner, trading a 68 fender blackline silverface super reverb even. I could not be more pleased

    with the guitar.

I look forward to hanging around this site and reading from a bunch of dudes that get it!

    Welcome aboard , Kvamp.

You cite a great referral when you mention YoSlate, a quality HOCer, no doubt.

I trust the 150 will become a favorite of yours, as it has the Kalamazoo magic in it. ..... and we always like to see pics, if possible.

And I'm sure we'll hear more of this cool stuff for guitar players that you build, it sounds intriguing

  5. Hi, my name is Will, but they call me skinslammer. I guess that is because I am a drummer since age 15, and added guitar playing to my musical skillset about 12 years ago. I am still learning (aren't we all?) many basic playing skills, but I do play each day-one benefit of being layed off from my job almost two years ago. I consider it to be great therapy and it helps to ease the anxiety of being in this economic situation. My Heritage guitar arsenal only consists of two H-150's at this time (I must admit to being a Les Paul junkie), but looking to add more as I learn more about the various models. There does not seem to be any shortage of fine used Heritage's out there and they seem to hold their value well. I plan on making the Pilgramage to K'zoo in 2011 to meet many of the friendly folks in person that are on this site. To me, that will be the real opportunity to learn about Heritage guitars, just by talking to people who own and cherish them. My other interests are: my Harley Davidsons, foosball, tennis, road cycling, and last but not least, my lovely fiance, Marie, who puts up with my guitar addictions and praises me when I score a good find (such as that 2005 H-150 that I got ya'all drooling over last week).

We're glad that you joined us , Will.

That is a nice variety of guitars that you have there.

And I'm glad that you explained what skinslammer means.... so that I didn't have to guess.

We'll see you at PSP IV...

  6. Hi All,

The names Bob, and my screen name is Bob. I just bought a 2004 535 a few days ago. I'm a new player with older hands.

Glad to be part of the community, and appreciative of the advice and support that this forum's members provide. Currently, trying to make up a reason not to go to a meeting so I can get home to play that H535...

    Welcome onboard.. Bob.

For some great pics visit our gallery, and join in the conversation on the forum.

And when you have a chance... we love to see pics of new members guitars....

  7. Hello and Welcome Nic,

That is a great story about your appreciation of your Heritage.

You hit on a lot of the points that we bring up among ourselves.

And that Cherry flametop is especially nice... and the Antiquities should be a great match.

Join in and... hope to see you at PSP IV...

  8. Hello to everyone, My name is John and I go by JWALKER here at HOC. I am a Social Worker, and I live in Hattiesburg, MS. I am new to Heritage, and for that matter to playing the guitar. I had three guitars about twenty years ago, but eventually gor rid of them. I really appreciate the patience everyone shows with a newbie like me. I have a 555 ordered, and when it comes I will try to post pictures of it, and my other non Heritage guitars. Oops, are we allowed to say that here? I have a Fender Telecaster and Sratocaster, and a Epiphone Elitist Les Paul. I look forward to really immersing myself into playing. This is really a great site, and I have learned and am still learning a great deal.

I am looking forward to getting a really good amp and some more Heritage guitars in the future, like a 150 or 157 and a DC Millennium with that cool DVIP. This may also get me into trouble here , but I want to also get a G & L ASAT Telecaster. I love the Telecaster, and had I not discovered a Heritage in my search for a Tele, I would probably have another by now. However, I met my first Heritage, a sweet red 535, at my local music store, and it was love at first sight and sound. Now, if I could just convince Heritage to make Telecasters. Oh yes, I may also want a Sweet 16 or a 575 or 525. As you can see I am hooked, and I probably should get myself some help. So, thanks to everyone, and I look forward to posting with you.

gallery_10_153_1681764.jpg check out the H-127 Custom...

  9. Hey John ( JWALKER )

A lot of us have other brands .. we just share an admiration for Heritage in particular. You'll find many G & L and Fender owners here, well really a bit of everything.

Heritage did experiment with a tele style guitar at one point.. quite rare.. and very different from a Fender.

It's cool that you found the 535 that got you started on Heritage and I can't wait to see the 555 ...it will be awesome.

  10. Welcome aboard Mick from Steilberg String Instruments,

We're glad to have you join us and add your Heritage experiences to the club.

And you've done a great job introducing yourself, which is a big thing around here as we see ourselves as a community of friends.

And don't forget to show us some pics of that Golden Eagle... Throw up some pics of it in the Heritage section if you have the chance....

  11. Hi everyone,

I'll start with a confession. I am not a Heritage owner... yet!

I hope I am still welcome here.

I joined because I have been researching Heritage guitars, particularly the Groove master. Newest edition.

That tailpiece intrigues the heck out of me.

I look forward to communicating with you all... but first, I think I have some serious research to do!

    Cheers, Ron

    Welcome aboard , Ron...

Check out the galleries and maybe search some old threads... my kind of research.. :D

Join in and have fun... ..... Oh , and get that Heritage you desire... eventually.

  12. Hello, my name is Will and I live in Oxford GA. I have been a Strat guy for a long time, but I own a Heritage cherry sunburst H-150CM which was purchased new in 2000, Serial Q32203. It is a fine guitar, heavy as these guitars should be and dripping with tone!

Welcome to the club, Will... join in and have some fun... and post a pic of that 150 when you have a chance... Drippin' with Tone is right for a Heritage...
