badfish2007
Hello i am new to this site, and heritage guitars for that matter and i thought id ask a question. I have been playing guitar for about seven years, i own 2 strats 2 335s and one martin acoustic. I was looking for a les paul styled guitar and a friend of mine let me try his h 150, i instantly fell in love with these guitars. I liked the beautiful finish the great tone and wonderful fretwork of the heritage. So here is my ? I have about 1300 dollars to spend on a h150 and i was wondering where the best place would be to buy/look for one. Any answers would be greatly appreciated. AnH555
Welcome. If I was looking for a 150 I'd talk to Golferwave. See the For Sale section.
Thundersteel
Welcome! We're glad you found us. This site can get very addicting! Yes, check the "For Sale" part of this forum. There is also a "Bay Watch" thread where you can see items currently listed on eBay.
Dick Seacup
Welcome to the Club! +2 on the "For Sale" section of this board. I would imagine you could get a very nice H157 (if you're into the Custom-type appointments) for that kind of coin, if you're looking for used. If you want to go new, there are several dealers linked from the main page, IIRC. Don't forget to post pics of whatever you get!

cosmikdebriis
Having already bought one of Golfers 150's. I can say they are every bit as good as he says. He tends to list on eBay so keep your eyes open. Just a personal opinion.... But I'd not buy one with the Schaller pickups.... Go for SD's or (HRW's if you like a brighter tone). Also... check the fret work before you buy, if it's an eBay purchase make sure you ask the seller about it. Also... Be aware of the weight issues with a 150. some seem to be much heavier than others so that may be an issue to you. Also... again... There are different models of 150 so make sure you're buying the one you want.... As general advice... I'd say spend some time browsing these threads and don't be afraid to ask about anything you are uncertain of. We may not always agree but at least you're bound to get an opinion from the HOC... We can be an opinionated bunch ;D I just know I've started something now...
