brentrocks
Beautiful. That natural color is going to darken up nicely over the years. I have that Schaller TP6 tailpiece on my 576 and I really like it. That is funny you mention that John..... After i played it and decided to make the move on it....the GC "specialist" fetched the case for me. I opened the storage compartment to find the original bridge, tailpiece and tuners!!! and they were all corroded and tarnished beyond repair. The orig owner must have replaced all the hardware be for selling to make it more appealing to the buyer....good for me...but also added the fine tuning tailpiece! ;D There must have been over $150 worth of new hardware there? Jorgen-Denmark
So you did at last get a hollowbody - and she's got class too - good score, Brent! By the way - I got lucky too, looking in the compartmentbox of the one you send me, I found some nice CD's with a looooot of good music - ZZtop,Jackyl, Page/Plant, Satriani, Megadeth Hope it wasn't placed there by fault - if it is so, let me know... :'(

Sometimes if you keep a guitar close to the water (a lake or especially salt water), the humidity can really speed up the corrosion. Even a humid basement can do that. And once the humidity gets in the case, things can even get moldy. Maybe something like that happened with this guitar. The hardware on a 1997 guitar should still look ok otherwise. yoslate
Beautiful. That natural color is going to darken up nicely over the years. Lovely acquisition, Brent! Similar in a number of ways to "Fat Girl," my 576, who has served me very, very well in a wide variety of musical contexts! And I'm going to second John's observation! My 576 is the same color, Brent. It's now eighteen years old, and the finish and binding are mellowing beautifully! 8)

Judging buy the condition of the case, it was left in a dark corner (where the cats played) for some time, unplayed...the worst thing you can do to a guitar Lovely acquisition, Brent! Phenomenal!!! Tulk, given your current gig, if you haven't heard this stuff, you should! Get on it Google-boys! I saw a film clip of Roy when he was young. He was burning up that guitar. When he finished he said, "When you got it you got it, and they say I am full of it!" ;D
Dick Seacup
Your wish Sahib! One word...T-shirts. Hell, better yet, we could start a web site for the fictional, unknown-but-trying-hard half-brother of Roy Clark, Brent. That would be a riot.
