Trouble
Okay Katy, I took the wah out today. Matched it with my Pro-Co Rat, plugged into my Tele and and the black faced super reverb. I've always used the wah as a treble boost because of high end loss from the Rat. What a screamer. It not only shook the plaster I broke some loose. A virtual blues machine. I had forgotten how nice it was. Thanks for the dare. Rat, Blackface Super, and wah, that is a pretty good combo. I keep a Rat on my board and on the days I pull out the Super everything is just a little sweeter and uh...thumpier, is that a word? The sound of 6L6's through four ten inch speakers is just a little different than everything else.

Trouble
Spanked a Nash Broadcaster through a '66 Super last week. Divine! I think mine is a '66 or very close, I posted it on another thread but can't remember for sure at the moment, it's a keeper. I've had it so long it's what I measure all other amps against, and most don't measure up. Every decent guitar sounds good through it but it really does make single coils sing. Genericmusic
I bought my '66 black face in '68 for $50. I had it rebuild so many time I've lost count. It is still my favorite amp for the Tele. Not so much for the Eagle.
