JohnCovach Posted October 13, 2012 Share Posted October 13, 2012 I recently traded a fuzzbox for a pair of TV Jones classic Filtertrons that directly replace P90s with the soapbar mount. I like the Lollar P90s that are in one of my 150s but I thought I'd try this out (I also have a 137 with Lollar P90s). The installation required a little filing on the bottom of the cavity to get the TVs at the right height, but otherwise I'm very happy with the sound. I may have to tweak the bridge pickup a bit, since I didn't get it completely parallel to the neck pickup. This is the second 150 on which I've done this TV Jones mod; the other was the goldtop I posted a couple of weeks ago with humbucker-mount TVs.
