y2kc
Did Heritage make some early guitars without stingers? Buffalo Bros. in California has a H-170 that is really beautiful but it looks odd without a stinger. Is this a "c" series? Someone please post a picture of that guitar because it is just fun to look at. Beautiful! y2kc

SouthpawGuy
My lefty '86 C serial 170 is an exact mirror image, with a stinger . Lots of mojo in those early ones. The pickups and hardware were replaced on mine.

HANGAR18
it was prob ordered without a stinger...some people dont like them? I was going to ask what was the purpose of a stinger? Just decoration? I don't particularly care for them but that wouldn't be a dealbreaker if I were considering the purchase of a Heritage guitar which had one.
