brentrocks
When i was putting Goldie Lox back in the rack i noticed that the 150 P and the Gary Moore 150 were not the same thickness. I wonder why? So i compared the thicknesses of all of them just because i was curious? 150 P VS Gary Moore http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/zzOther%20guitar%20stuff/P1010047.jpg[/img] 150 P VS '86 H 170 http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/zzOther%20guitar%20stuff/P1010048.jpg[/img] 150 P VS '86 H 127 http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/zzOther%20guitar%20stuff/P1010051.jpg[/img] lots of variances? seems like they would have kept things a little more uniform? faultline
I'd expect some variance between the 150/127 and the 150/170 - the difference between the pair of 150's might just be G.M.'s personal specs ...
jacques
the 127 is just one piece of wood (mahogany), whereas the others are all sandwiched bodies, so that's one logical explanation...

Gitfiddler
Brent, thanks for the comparison photos and comments. Do you notice much difference in the basic tones of these gits? I've always thought the thicker bodied guitars had...well...thicker tone as well. I cannot tell much differnce acoustically, but amplified, there just seems to be more from the fatter bodies. This was my experience with Ibanez Artists. How do your Heritage's fare in this area?
