davesultra
I know we've been down this road before, but my mind's not what it used-ta. Going to change the old Schaller roller bridge/stoptail combo on my '89 H357. Looking to order the Faber hardware (including bridge inserts), what size(s) will I need. Please & Thank you in advance. bobmeyrick
The Schaller combo thread is the same as the Gibson Nashville setup, which is metric for the bridge and imperial for the tailpiece. I've exchanged Schaller for Nashville and it's a straight swap, so if the Faber is a Nashville equivalent you shouldn't have a problem.
Hfan
^^ yes that sounds right... And when I did some swapping years ago, I did a quick google search and there are some great old threads if you need more detail let us know how it works out
davesultra
Thanks for the input. The bridge is the roller style not the Nashville style.
bobmeyrick
Thanks for the input. The bridge is the roller style not the Nashville style. The thread on the roller bridge posts is the same as the Nashville posts. In fact didn't Schaller make the Nashville bridges for Gibson at some point?
