A price list from the early 90's …the Heritage-made D'Angelico's were referred to as D'Angelico II  models.

15 carved D'Angelico II's were made, 3 by Jim Triggs and 12 by Heritage. Also, 25 (not sure of number accuracy) Gretsch 18" archtops were made by Heritage.

Thanks! That fits with my memories. Since those days, have they used the D'Angelico II name on other guitars? (not built by Heritage).

And it comes with a Heritage case.  That is a curiosity!

Just an update..Victor Baker parted ways with D"Angelico over a year ago.. Word is that Rick McCurdy has stepped in...he is #3 of D'angelico's attempts at keeping a quality luthier as the lead of their MasterBuilt program..McCrudy is an awesome builder, and a great guy
