Gitfiddler
Yo, DC Ron~ I think I might own your old Golden Eagle. Is/was it a '93? I posted a composite photo of it on the first page of this thread. http://img520.imageshack.us/img520/5284/heritagegoldeneaglepicspl2.jpg[/img] Here's a close up of the front with its two sisters... http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/9669/heritagearchtops3me9.jpg[/img]

pushover
The OSB always seems to show some red in the pics. When Ren sent me the pic of my Millie NFB OSB I thought it was red. Not at all once it got here. Must be something in the way it reflects that particular spectrum. This is the 157 OSB I sold to Cosmik. http://eriador1.com/h157/h157-fullbod.jpg[/img] And this is my Millie DC OSB. The first one is the pic Ren sent me. http://eriador1.com/millie2008/2008Millie_kle.jpg[/img] And this is my own pic of the same guitar. http://eriador1.com/millie2008/millie2008-fullfront1.jpg[/img] I've always loved that OSB 157.. Very nice.. I love my BB, but I think the OSB is a little more classy looking.. Glad it went to a good home. If you ever feel like getting rid of that Milli, please let me know.. I've been 'jonesing for one of those for a while now and that's very much what I have in mind I'd promise to love it, and hug it, play it, and call it George (if you get the cartoon reference..) tulk1
Push, Thanks for the kind comments. Yeah, I'm glad that 157 got to a good home. Even if it was Cosmik!! That Millie was a special order. To personal specs. That beauty will stay here. But I'm truly glad you like it. I think it's beyond special. Ren told me they took very good care of that one. I even have a model sticker signed by everyone that worked on the guitar.

Got it from Jay new in 93. He used to carry photos I gave him in his album to display at shows, except too many folks kept asking to get one just like it! As if! Great to see she's found a good home. Sent you a note with more of the back story...Ron
Gitfiddler
DC Ron~ I am really glad to finally make contact with the original purchaser of this fine Golden Eagle! It is one of the most incredible archtops I've ever played, much less owned. You have excellent taste in gitfiddles...just like me. If you are ever in the SF Bay Area look me up so you can exercise your 'Heritage Visitation Rights'. 8)
