DetroitBlues Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Is Joe Bonamassa warming to modeling amps? | Guitar World While Joe B still touts his illustrious collection of tube amps on tour (and probably the largest collection of Fender amps in the world), Fender's Tone Master Digital amp has now been added to his live touring rig. I'm sure there is no bigger opposition to digital amps than Joe, but if it sounds good, it sounds good..
Steiner Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Last time I saw JB, he had his customary 5 or 6 amps behind him and road cases just offstage with a dozen or so early Marshall’s. I’d wager there’s financial incentive somewhere buried in this announcement. Digital are better with absolute frequencies but, the valves give it soul. I’m pretty sure Joe understands that.

I'm really curious to see how he actually uses it. Being its a Fender Twin TM, I'm pretty sure it just adds a layer to his sound as I cannot recall him really playing anything in a chimey, clean Fender tone...
Spectrum13 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago And what does he record with and how does the engineer craft his sound and what guitar does he play it into and what song is he playing and how is the CD pressed. Is he America's John Mayhall / Eric Clapton/Peter Greene/ Mick Taylor? Seriously he has gotten so much better in his more recent recordings and shows.
