Hoping to not have to as well. I like the older style of case and this one is great condition minus the smell of course. Being in the sun has aleviated the smell from the outside of the case now working on the interior.
Hello Nuke. Yes, Welcome. I'm a recent new member as well and have enjoyed the interactions with other members. Yes, the H535 is a little thinner then the ES335 so I would think the cases would be a bit different to fit each snuggly. Maybe do a post in the thread where folks sell items and see if anyone is selling one. Talk to Chris in customer service if you do call Heritage. He has been great with me. Enjoy your new guitar. I just recently got a H535 and can't put it down.
Hey all,
When I bought my 2011 H-535 it did not have a key for case. It's one of the older style cases that say "The Heritage" in big print on it. Would anyone out there have an extra key for this case? Thanks.
Some amazing guitars for sure. That gold H-535 is stunning. I live in Elkhart Indiana. about an hour south of the Heritage Factory. Looking forward to the PSP coming up in August. Can't wait to see the factory. Will your be able to come to that event?
How about a hybrid? I know the purist will not like the thought but my Taylor T5 has served me well at church in many situations and market share is always a good thing for a smaller company. Any why I'm at it a couple acoustics would be great as well.
Thanks Hopkinwfg for asking this question as I'm interested in a 150.
Yes it is very subjective topic but hearing why folks like their guitars does help form an opinion when coupled with your own preferences. I look forward to reading others responses.
Phil does a good job. I like how he had the conversation with Heritage concerning the frets. He's straight forward like that and that adds authenticity to his reviews.
I recently purchased this and both the guitar and the case have a strong smoke smell. I've put the case out in the sun for the past two weeks and it has actually done a great job, but obviously I can't do that with my guitar.
Does anyone have methods they've used to address the smoky smelly guitar? Appreciate any help.
Wow, look at that. A Bigsby is just the coolist piece of hardware on a guitar. That wooden pick guard is awesome too. They should have never gotten rig of that in my opinion.
Thanks for the reply. I've used treble bleeds in the past on Les Paul's with good success, I may need to think about that on this one. I like the taper on the pots they used work just fine. This guitar was in the case for most of it's life so the pots were scratchy and the 3-way was nearly stuck in place. Contact cleaner resolve those issues. The guitar it's self has a smoky smell to it. Any idea how to address that? The case is easy I've had it in the sun for the last two weeks and the smell is all but gone. I appreciate. it.
I recently purchased a 2011 H-535 and was wanting to know the components that were used. Pots, caps, 3-way switch, jack, and fret wire. Thanks for any help.
