why don't we place winning bid on ebay ~ split the cost ~ and let owen keep the guitar!

:laughing4::thumbsup::sunny:

Great idea.

Owen already asked his Dad about getting that guitar.

His Dad wanted him to learn how to play and kind of earn the privilege to have such a fine guitar.

if you guys are ok with it ~ i'll setup thru my PayPal ~ one of us has to be responsible for the winning bid ~ i'll do that too.

i know i can trust you all ~ but need to say i am not working now, as you know spent $$ recently on guitars ~ and need to count on everyone to pay immediately ~ to my PayPal ~ unless one of you has a better idea ~ which i would like ~ but since its my idea, and it looks like there is support ~ i will take full responsibility. no worries. this guitar belongs in one place only!

*** winning bid divided by number of charitable commitments = cost per person. ***

please uderstand we <none of us> will know the final cost <equally divided> until the guitar auction closes.

i will pay for the auction close within moments, and will send a final cost/payee to each of you within 48 hours. let me pay 1st, then you send me the $$ so i can make my bank acct straight. ok???

I am going to repost this so we can keep it as originally intended.

Heritage Guitar had asked me to make the HOC members aware of this auction for a cause. See original thread below.

In subsequent threads people expressed interest in making donations to Owen's cause and I put a link to his team for the Heart association.

Several people have made donations through the link and they are greatly apprectiated.

The auction for the guitar on ebay starts March 22 with the proceeds being donated to the Heart Association. If you are interested in bidding on the Guitar,

join the auction. Here is the link. www.tinyurl.com/teamowenheartwalk

If you are not interested in bidding on the guitar but would like to support the cause, here is the link to make a donation.

Thanks again for all your help!

Marv contacted me about a guitar that Heritage is donating for a good cause.

I am putting the information up here for him.

This young man has defied all the odds and still has a struggle ahead.

Let us all show our support to Marv and Heritage!

Here is the link to check out the guitar. I've seen this one and it's a beauty!

This will be an E-bay auction and it will go live on March 22nd.

This is a great cause. I will certainly look into it and see if we can help. If we cannot help w/ the git we will try to donate. Thanks for sharing the story. I wish I could just buy it and give it to Owen, but it's great to be a part of a group that would come together for such a great cause.

2 Days until it goes Live. Good Luck! Bid high and bid often.

Good news from 225 Parson St.

I talked to Marv this morning about the upcoming auction.

He said they are getting pretty busy.

They are getting a lot of oversea orders.

Well, well, well. We may be having a little bidding war here.

It's a little early in the game, isn't it? The auction has another 10 days.

Wow. Great start! Hope it keeps going.

A big Thank You to everyone in advance for posting and supporting a very good cause!

I don't suppose the cherry finish is a coincidence.

I've always loved that finish! Probably not a coincidence. ; )
