JohnCovach
OK, so I have a few Heritages already. But I just bought this one at a price I couldn't resist. It's a cherryburst 150 CM with Lollar Imperial pickups. What a superb guitar this is! Best I can tell, the price stayed low because it's marked as a second. But the reason has to do with some streaking on the top, which I think adds real character to the guitar. e195_1.JPG e195_1.JPG_thumb

yoslate
Tone report on the Imperials ( This is completely unrelated to Brent's "What Car Is This" thread ), John? I don't know that anyone has actually filed a thorough one yet, despite all of the pickup chatter. I think mineral streaking in a maple top adds tons of character, making the instrument unique. Love it. Nice looking piece. I know you needed another one.... A man can never have too many.
High Flying Bird
It looks good John. One of my favorite guitars is a Heritage 2nd.
tulk1
Horrible horrible horrible ...... that they marked that fine guitar as a 2nd. Oh, wait, maybe not, since you got a good deal on it.
Thundersteel
I was eying that one as well. To me, that's not a "second." Rather, I think it adds character! Congrats!
brentrocks
Very nice John! it is a mystery why some of those are #2ed
111518
Very pretty guitar John. The mineral streaking looks a little like the way a friend of mine notates his compositions; I agree that it adds interesting, even musically suggestive, character to the top. Congrats. Kuz
John, I'm sure you love that guitar. Don't those Lollar Imperials just nail the PAF tone? Congrats.
slider313
Nice !! I also would like to know what you think of those Lollars.
JohnCovach
So far, I've noticed the Lollar Imperials have a bit more bite than the Seths do, but until I actually play the for while with the band I won't have a good sense of their range. I've got Lollar P-90s on my other 150 and those pickups are great!
