brentrocks
I needed this like a hole in the head , but the price was too good to pass up. It is a very nice playing 140...and a custom order too! Traps, belly cut, bound fretboard, covered Schallers....it sounds really good too! http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/H%20140%20Gold/P1010019.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/H%20140%20Gold/P1010018.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/H%20140%20Gold/P1010021.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/H%20140%20Gold/P1010023.jpg[/img] http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y52/ebmmquilt/H%20140%20Gold/P1010020.jpg[/img]

Kuz
Brent, That one looks like mint condition. It would be nice to keep that one. But if not, what's the over/under time wise before it hits the swap meet?
slider313
That would pair up well with my block inlay '88 cherryburst. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/b376/slider313/Heritage140.jpg[/img]

111518
I'm with 'slate --beautiful mahogany on the back, and the color is a great match with the gold. Cool guitar.
brentrocks
Thanks guys ;D i spent a couple hours with it today and i have to say i'm very satisfied w/ the schallers in this guitar. this guitar is a little on the bright side anyway, because if the thinner body...but i like the tone. i think it sounds best on the neck pup w/ the tone rolled back to 5 or so. but very aggressive on the neck w/ some good 'ol fashioned distortion > the neck is SUPER SLIM, like the roy clark...i love it!!! i love the traps and the belly cut for my big belly ;D

brentrocks
I have really been having a blast playing this thing....these Schallers really re-confirmed my belief in these pups...they are a great match for this 140. i think they will stay. i cant get over the slimmness of this neck...everybody asks what sets Heritage apart from Gibson...i say its the necks!!! (that is one of many) it wierd playing that 10.5 lb 157 and then strapping on the 140 but it is a blast at the same time....the Gary Moore is getting jealous :'(
golferwave
Good looking axe Brent! The 140's can hold their own against anything and they don't hurt your shoulder during a longer set. Great find!
