Never used 'em, always .011's for me, but I have a friend who played with Bonnie Raitt for years, an out-of-this-world player, and he swears by that set! Good eye Slate. :wink: My Melody Maker had one of these and a guy put a Badass wrap around Bridge on it. Great little design. It's the setup of the LP juniors; Heritage 137's; and the mid-fifties, post-trapeze, pre tune-o-matic Les Pauls. Intonation on my 150, by the way, is dead on. There have been a few threads here at the HOC about that. Very interesting stuff, and some very, very knowledgeable cats here. Worth doing a word search on the HOC homepage to see what you could dig up. Do that, and then see what you might conclude. I'm a big advocate of "less is more" in just about everything.
