I played a rocker 30 the other day and found it could pretty much do anything I wanted it to do but with a very distinct crunch. The dirty channel could dial in a edgy clean to a awesome full on AC/DC style crunch. I really dug that amp. Anyone have any experience with it? slider313 Posted April 13, 2009 Share Posted April 13, 2009 Not with the Rocker 30 but a friend just picked up a Rockerverb 50 combo with 2X12" Vintage 30's. It's a nice big punchy sound with a bit of "hair" on the clean channel. The transformers are big so the sound is strong and percussive. It was a great rig for rockin' out but I never really bonded with the clean channel. It just didn't have any sparkle or 'wow factor' in conjunction with my 535 (main ax right now).
