kbp810
My wife was playing around with her camera and happened to capture two mighty fine examples of the Heritage Headstock... So I thought, why not show 'em off!

Steiner
Looks like Mrs. KBP810 is becoming adept at that camera thing. You have two fine examples of status symbols. How's that acoustic treating you? I'm still smitten with that acoustic's TRC. Thanks for the porn!

High Flying Bird
Check out the blurry background. That's art! They call the ability lens to do this, "Bokah." She has good bokah on these shots. Did you get her any new glass to go with the new camera? What camera did you buy her?

Did you get her any new glass to go with the new camera? What camera did you buy her? It's the Canon 60D, the lens on these shots was the 50mm f/1.4 (set to 2.2 on these) - in the market for a macro lens at the moment, thinking the 100mm? The 50 1.4 is one of the best lenses Canon makes. For the money one could argue.... I have both the 50 1.4 and the 100 2.8. If you don't want to spend $1300 - $1600 on a lens you couldn't do better. On Fred Miranda's site in the early 2000s we agreed that these two should have been given the red stripe of the pro series lenses. The 100mm Macro is a fantastic portrait lens. People if you love your wife, get her good lenses.

schundog
Brent, all good shots, but those 2 20th anniversary models side my side against the tree is just stunning! Larry, I've never seen an inlaid logo without headstock binding before; that's cool and unique. Did you order it that way?

schundog
KBP and Kuz, that 5 ply headstock binding is THE STUFF! Awesome looking, even makes regularly bound Heritage headstocks look pedestrian by comparison. It also just hit me that the TRC on Brian's acoustic is in the shape of the headstock itself! Very cool; did that come from the factory like that?

For anyone that didn't notice... take another look at the TRC on the H450. its actually a small trans black piece of flamed maple, bound, and in the shape of the Heritage Headstock
