yoslate Posted December 10, 2011 Author Share Posted December 10, 2011 Happy bump, for NAD!!!! Pulled the trigger on a Kustom '36 Coupe which had been on eBay, expired, then reposted. I don't have an account, so my best friend and I got together this afternoon, and we did a last minute bid. Turned out to be the only bid. Bingo! Got it stupid cheap!! Cool thing for me is having gigged and toyed with one, owned by a friend, for a while, so I know exactly what I'm getting. Found some sweet old Sylvania 6L6's in my tube stash the other day, too. So all I need to do is to audition the Eminence speaker the amp comes with. If I don't like that, I know what a Celestion Vintage 30 sounds like in it, and will probably go for one of them. I have some really nice custom build amps, and they all sound just terrific...but this common little trollop promises some slightly dirty fun!
