Guest HRB853370
These seem rather rare in the used market and I had a guy contact me to offer to sell me a 2009 model H 525 for $1650 shipped. Was wondering if that was on the high side, or if it was a fair price. The condition was stated as exceptional, with no visible flaws.
Kuz
BUY IT NOW!!!! These are what $2500 new, and they don't come up for sale used very often.
Gitfiddler
Will, check it out to be sure it has all of the stuff you like (neck profile, color, etc.) and if any custom upgrades. The ones that Wolfe sells all seem to have upgraded wood. See if that's where it originated. You might find a good deal. That's not a bad price if it is as described...but gotta see photos first. As Kuz said, new ones go for $2,500+ before fancy shmancy options.
Guest HRB853370
This one does not have any bling to it. Here is a link to the auction that ended with the photos. This one seems to not have alot of extra bling. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290652627264 Thoughts? Kuz? Git?
Kuz
I disagree, I think it has a nice flame. In general the 525 is a more subdued guitar (no extra binding, no headstock binding, ect) I would offer him $1500 and then run to the bank, looks like a sweet axe!!!!! yoslate
Will, John and Tim know whereof they speak. Listen! And while you're at it, go to Greg's guitars, Gregor Hilden's website, and listen to the 525 he test drove through his '69 Vibrolux. Box of tone! DetroitBlues
Looks like a great looking guitar.. Might need a new nut, existing one seems like a cheap plastic one...

Kuz
Looks like a great looking guitar.. Might need a new nut, existing one seems like a cheap plastic one... I think that was a joke. I didn't see any pics that could show it had nut issues.
Guest HRB853370
I offered $1500. I think he probably laughed at that. He emailed me, sold it for $1650.
