New guy from Collingwood

LK155

Recommended Posts

Hello folks.  New member here, from Collingwood Ontario.

Found this site a few weeks ago, and just had to get in on the factory tour in July.

We've now got everything planned--hotel reservations--Google map (a mere 7 hour drive apparently), wife enthused, what more could I ask for?

Good weather, I guess.  And the obligatory outlet mall somewhere along the way.

Found my H155 at the 12th Fret in Toronto about four years ago.  Very impressive guitar.  Got me back playing (even taking lessons again) after 30+ years of indifference.

I have since changed to a Tone-Pros bridge (the original Schaller roller bridge had an unusual defect--the third string was too low and there's no individual saddle height adjustment) and bone nut, which help the tuning stability and sustain.

Will post some pix later when I figure out how!

Looking forward to meeting the forum members in Kalamazoo on the 18th.

Cheers!

Hi there, LK - welcome to HOC!  And congrats and owning a fine guitar.  Looking forward to pics of it - I've a 150 and seen 157s, but am not sure what the 155 model is...

Well, I promised pictures, so here goes:

This is my 2001 Millennium H-155 in almond burst.

Apologies in advance if these pictures are either too small, too large, or completely invisible.
