DetroitBlues
Very interesting story on this acquisition. Went looking for a Marshall DSL40, ran across this DSL20CR. Ended up trading my Reverend Eastsider T, but I dug this amp! The person I made the deal with is the owner of 148 South Street Studios. Never heard of this place, but turns out this studio is used by touring bands at Pine Knob to rehearse. The stage was so cool and the AMPS! Oh man, Mesa Boogie, Marshall full stacks, Fenders… full PA by Prosonus, 4K camera system. Pedals everywhere…. Santana, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder…. Prior to the pandemic, 40-50 bands a month ran through there. Now only 10 or so. So he has to sell some gear. He’s going to use the Reverend as a studio guitar and I get a home and gig worthy amp. 2 Channels, 10 and 20 Watt settings, Reverb, 1x12 cabinet. I’ve heard this Celestion 70-80 speaker isn’t that great. Haven’t tested that enough yet to know.

Steiner
OH! Cool amp. We need to see if it'll put white-caps on the pond. I suppose this time of year we'll just see if it will melt the ice. Still a formidable task. Nice snatch!
