MartyGrass Posted March 7 Posted March 7 (edited) I don't know if this previously was posted. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XXCAKNkDvL0 At 3:00 exactly you'll see Ren Wall's dad with a guitar. This is Rem Wall, a local country legend with a great voice. Edited March 7 by MartyGrass 3
LK155 Posted March 7 Posted March 7 Got a kick out of this line... "Although the plant is equipped with the latest woodworking machines like this belt sander...." After all, that was only 70 years ago. 1
TalismanRich Posted March 7 Posted March 7 I remember seeing someone working on an H-150 on a belt sander years ago. I liked the CNC carver right off the bat! We all got to see Heritage's duplicarver. Today, it's all in the CNC.
TalismanRich Posted March 25 Posted March 25 (edited) I just ran across this video about the history of Gibson in Kalamazoo. Edited March 25 by TalismanRich
MartyGrass Posted March 31 Author Posted March 31 My small experience with Gibson (Memphis and Nashville) has been pretty good. There may have been some rough times in the beginning. Heritage has had its ups and downs but seems quite good the last decade. Most of the earlier guitars also were nicely done. It takes an occasional bad apple that inspires a post on some forum that takes the shine off a reputation.
