  1. Ditto. The 50s automobile tailfin shape works well on the Gibson, and is a classic look. But if you want a Gibson, buy a Gibson! I am proud of The Heritage and their unique styling appointments. I think they did a great job making new stylistic changes that are unique, identifiable & classy. Plus it's good promotion: if you see a picture of someone playing a Heritage, you know it.
  2. That's f'n nice Mike! Congrats
  3. Yeah I'm curious too I'd guess it's more of a spoon edge
  4. Nice to see them side by side to compare I think I like the newer horn better Ugly pickguards though... 😅
  5. That's a looker too!
  6. I hear you on big frets: I have a G&L with skinny vintage frets & they wear down pretty fast. It needs a dressing already. I have an older one refretted with jumbos years ago & it's still going strong.
  7. That's a sweet guitar! And a nice gesture
  8. Yeah that's really fantastic, and a gorgeous guitar too!
  9. Merry Christmas!! to all the faithful & unfaithful, fair & unfair, with & without hair, over here & over there!
  10. Well that guitar was clearly built by "Henry" Or maybe it's "Heally"? "Heailly"?
  11. Well thanks for posting the pic, it's glorious to see that many in 1 photo. And congrats to the dude! Really nice assortment of H357's
  12. Well that would be even cooler if it was a Heritage acoustic. I just assumed Harmony for some reason, and the body shape looked similar
  13. They should get Jimmy Page to endorse it, he used a Harmony Sovereign on the 1st Led Zeppelin album if I'm not mistaken. People go nuts for anything he's ever touched. I think even HE couldn't find stuff anymore, after talking about it.
  14. Yeah agree. I dig them too.
  15. That's wild!! Where's my shotgun? It's Marvbird season The one on the far right has an interesting cutaway, or is that the camera angle?
  16. Looks good! Is it my eyes or is the X Terminator headstock a bit longer?
  17. Is that a Smokey & The Bandit model Trans Am on the sill? Or maybe a Corvette?
  18. Brent bought them all
  19. Tough question: I don't know if I could choose, I like them all! I like being able to see the wood through the finish, although some of my faves are solid colors. And solid colors get even better as they age & the nitro takes on the texture of the wood underneath.
  20. I'll have to take stock of my t-shirts. I have a few HOC shirts but I have so many bloody t-shirts I stopped acquiring them. Maybe once they wear out I'll need some more. I have one of those Heritage ball caps too. Thanks Doug!
  21. Minnie the Mooch, and her Cadillac coffin
  22. Or do like Steve Vai when he plays live: put the fans in front of you so it blows your precious locks backwards & it looks like you're in a music video. Afterwards you can retrieve the locks, break out the bagels & cream cheese & have a snack.
  23. Nice! Always cool when one of your biggest fans shows up
  24. Yeah! Still got mine. A prized possession
