  1. Unlike these rabbits! The bunny museum in LA has burned The burnt-to-a-crisp kind of brown bunny: Terrible what's going on in LA! Can't imagine what else has been destroyed.
  2. This 100% I've never had issues with any new or used Heritage gtrs I've bought. Like anything handmade, there is some variability so I guess occasionally stuff slips through. I did get carpal tunnel syndrome & had to stop using thick necks for a while. Glad it's no longer an issue as I like the feel. But still enjoy my thinner necks.
  3. The rabbit approves of fuzz. Especially in the winter. Temps have dropped.
  4. Congrats! And those are good tubes. I have a couple spares but wish I had a stash!
  5. So pretty close to TalismanRich's. Nearly identical, really. And then measurement % error. I'm not at sea level, not sure about parallax & I didnt take into account the observer effect.
  6. Allright: Shims measured: 0.147 thick 1.045 @ 1st fret = 0.898" 1.163 @ 12th fret = 1.016"

    Hello!

That is a cool looking Harmony! What are those pickups? Before he passed away Edwin Wilson told me he was working on designing gold foil pickups for the new Harmony models, I wonder if those are them?
  8. Hey that's a good idea! I'll get some popsicle sticks & remeasure
  9. With the strings on I get ( inches ) 0.962 at 1st fret 1.091 at 12th fret That includes the fret & the strings though. Was a hassle to get under the strings
  10. Ah, ok, interesting! I don't like that name no more. My new name is Rocky.
  11. That's a neat idea never thought of a rechargable power supply. Bought a compressor recently haven't used it much yet.
  12. And FWIW I played a new H535 in the showroom at the factory and it was outstanding too.
  13. That's nice! Sheptone's are great pickups too, I have a set in a HB firebird. I just checked my serial # is ABxxx which is 2013 I believe
  14. Does that have a variable sun knob on it? It's for biasing the transistor isn't it? If so do you use it much?
  15. Good advice from TR above I'll add I had a 90s 535 & sold it because the neck was too slim for me. I replaced it with a 2013 or 2015 H-535 & it is the bomb!! Amazing gtr, nice beefy neck but not a baseball bat. I also put Wolfetone Legend pickups in Gratuitous pic And a shoutout to Bill Paige: it never had a pickguard installed; one year at the factory I asked if I could buy one, he walked back into the shop retreived one & gave it to me. So thank you Bill!
  16. Lol! I thought it may have been a bad acid trip, or King Crimson album liner art, or both Oh it says "play again" I thought those were just broken teeth. Freaky.
  17. I also approve because there's so many out there, people who have real '59 Les Pauls can gig them & tell everyone it's an aged replica Honestly I don't care if other people buy relic'd guitars
  18. Nice! What the heck is that in your avatar?
  19. I wish I had a pick holder that magically snapped up all the picks that fly out of my fingers, while playing. I had a pet gecko lizard once, they're pretty quick maybe I could train one. And let him live in my pedalboard.
  20. Ha, true! Although there's the broken headstock on that Duane Allman LP? Both of these product lines are a testament to Edwin Wilson's vision & skills RIP
  21. Yeah that's why I only have authentic wear & tear on my guitars Those are both nice though. You're right: of course Edwin setup the CC line, I forgot all about that promo vid he did on them.
  22. I assume he was involved with the custom core models? He said he was working on the Harmony models designing pickups when I was there.
