  1. I have one of those with a destroyed cone I keep forgetting about. I should get it reconed!
  2. I have an Eastman 00 acoustic that is great sounding
  3. This is the third topic I just checked in, to see what condition my condition was in
  4. man, I was just thinking about this thread again. I wish I still had my celestion alnico blues & alnico gold 12" speakers. They were really good. I sold them when I unloaded my Vox & Matchless amps
  5. some nice gtrs there!!
  6. yep summed up pretty good above There is a dynamic between particular speakers & particular amps. Always good to play around with combinations but use caution. Unless you can afford recones or don't have any rare vintage speakers. I have an old ~15w tube amp I put an ancient Bell & Howell alnico film speaker in it, very light resonant cone. That thing RAWKS when it's cranked up. I bet it's just on the verge of the speaker's power handling
  7. yes good points Waverly tuners are amazing. $$ though
  8. they look good I tried a belly cut on a 535 once. It didn't end well.
  9. Holy 357 mania!! is that 3 of them in there? what kind of bass is that guy using? looks unique, lipstick pickups too?
  10. I bet the dumbass who wired the gtr up made a mistake
  11. Congrats!! and welcome to the club 535's are amazing. One of these day's I'd like to try a CC I echo the chorus on "pics or it never happened" :D
  12. I can't sing, I ain't pretty, and my legs are thin
  13. there's a red one just like that white one jrmintz posted, in one of the old catalogs I think it was a variation of the SAE model as mentioned above
  14. That's the one I was thinking of
  15. Jimbob that's a sweet goldtop!
  16. I thought I'd seen that on another boutique LP style gtr. Can't remember the brand. I like the chunky traditional neck joint. Never really had a problem with it, and that might get unsightly over time as the pieces of wood shrink & expand. But there would be easier access to those weedly-weedly frets.
  17. Smoking too much grass & got carried away with the sander? 😆
  18. Wow! Thx for the tip
  19. David Gilmour still uses a POS Zoom thing from the 80s to record stuff.
  20. As far as the vid: yep it's nice to see the H150 getting the cred it deserves. 114k views in 2 days? That's not a bad thing. I didn't read the comments probably entertaining though.
  21. Holy Hell, that is a swell guitar!
