Hey, who let that (beautiful!) 157 into this 150 party?!  :(

If you let one in, they'll all want to get in!

See what I mean!  ;D

Slate, e-mail that photo to me and I will post it on my web space.

Yoslate, very cool guitar.  Single stop bridge w/P90s, block inlays... must have been a custom order?

'99. Those are crown inlays. And a wrap bridge. What guitar are you looking at?  ;D

Thanks, guys!  fxdx, yes, a custom order.  Late friend of mine was an early Heritage dealer.  He was a monster player who spec'd that one.  1 3/4" at the nut, a shallow "C" neck he specified to be just like his '62 Les Paul SG.  It has some wear and tear on it, but that only adds to the funk, as it was a working guitar.  By the way, the inlay is traditional trapezoid....          ;D

That's the best bridge for sustain.  We have to thank Jeff Beck for that novel idea!

I thought the '54 LPs, etc. had wrap around tailpieces? I know the '52/53 had trapezoid tp's that wrapped under. Then they were changed to wrapping over in '54.

Hey, Kaz!  As I'd posted above, a custom order, inspired by the Beck '54, as per VJonathan and tulk's observations.  That arrangement of the grain in the top is referred to as "chevrons," as in the shoulder patch on an army seargent's uniform.  And the intonation?  Ah, yes, just another of the miracles from the boys and girls (I've been keeping up with your posts, Katie!) in Kalamazoo.  It strobes perfectly at the twelfth fret.  It's a wonderful guitar!                    8)

This 150 contest is a cakewalk if we are talking custom.  Are you ready to hand over the trophy?  LOL

I have abalone dots on fingerboard.  Albalone truss-rod cover.  A 555 headveneer.  Chrome hardware.

Shaller pick-up's.  A custom finish.  And it only weighs about 7.5 pounds!!!
