Hi and welcome, allmantrout.  Wow, that is one pretty 207 you have there.  Just a guess... think solid body w/single coils get into the Fender camp and is just harder to break in there - even Gibson hasn't really done that.  Hard enough to break into the Gibby camp and that's where so much of 'the story' links the lp/semi/jazz boxes that seem to be more successful models for Heritage.  This forum is certainly the exception - there's plenty of admiration for the variety of solid bodies that had some design features usually attributed to Fender-style.

How 'bout a pic of that 550 in your tag line?  That sounds like an interesting guitar...  as well as you having 2 anniversary models with the same serial number?!?  Was that planned?  Really nice sounding collection you have there.

The EMGs were stock delivered by Heritage!
He may be right. I seem to remember seeing an old Heritage ad that had a guitar (may even have been the same model) with those PUPS in it. I'll look around in some of those mags and see if I can find it.  :icon_scratch:

That sounds excellent, Trout - please, go ahead (and don't forget the years of production and maybe add some comments) You will be endowed with lots of good karma!

I would imagine they were schaller high output..

email heritage and they can tell you exactly what was in it, I think gballman had/has one he might know as well

all the other s/s/h heritages came with schaller high output pups, same as early 80's kramers.
