I believe the proper term is "degaussed. :police: A unit of Gauss (named after the German Mathemagician Johann Carl Friedrich Gauss) is equal to one maxwell per square centimeter - let's call it magnetic strength. The same guy responsible in statistics for the Gaussian or Normal distribution. Why do I recognize this? He's the same Teutonic gray-matter responsible for so many late-night study groups in college. When I should have been consoling some young co-ed back at the dorm > Why did I have to shoot my trap? You never know how many mathematician/physicists are lurking out there...
