  1. This is good to hear, from someone who worked in retail & has experience from those years. I remember the shitshow of opinions when Heritage was trying to deal with QC at that time. Myself I don't really have issues with most of that as I do my own setups, and don't care about cosmetics a lot, but I could see why a lot of people did. And if you're trying to establish a reputable brand of quality, it's absolutely important.
  2. I wonder if stuffing permeable bags full of activated charcoal inside the body would work? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Activated_carbon
  3. I've heard charcoal absorbs odors. I wouldn't leave it in contact with the gtr though. Maybe put the gtr in a closet with a hanging mesh bag full of charcoal?

  5. Outstanding!! Congrats
  6. Found another. A trans black H150 I got off Brent. Thanks again! Hard to see unless the lighting is bright enough: the black hides the flame. Which is kinda cool in a stealth way. That's a one piece top too.
  7. Those DMM's are killer! Nice setup
  8. Other than my 80s 357, my oldest is a "J" serial H150 I think. Don't have a lot of gtr pics but here's an old one.
  9. I ran out of "likes" pretty early on in this thread. Gorgeous guitars!
  10. Will, did you try anything out yet? Let us know how it goes
  11. It's funny: I didn't realize that was Steve Albini at first. Hadn't seen a picture of him for a long time! But the overalls & studio background should have been a clue :)
  12. At some point in my life, I did try playing an electric gtr through various home stereos. It sounded terrible Dynaudio make good speakers
  13. That makes sense. And wow, look at that harp guitar!
  14. This is a public message

  15. Hey interesting. I believe the owners of Heritage are the ones who mentioned the Larrivee connection with their acoustics. But I guess not all of them!
  16. That is pretty cool!! It sounds great. I suspected it wasn't a run-of-the-mill solid state home stereo
