  2. Thanks, Josh. Learning what I have, I think I'll take a different tack to get a H with Seths . . . right now, standard H535s and 530s are heavily discounted at Daves and Sweetwater (and probably other shops). So, it would make better financial sense for me just to get one of these and a new set of Seths. What intrigues me is the idea of Seths in a 530. Unpotted pickups in full hollow might be a feedback machine but tonally it seems like it would be delightful at lower volumes. Can anyone tell me if the wiring components are the same for 530s and 535s? That is, if I got a 530, would changing from P90s to Seths be a quick one and done (well, two actually) or are the capacitors or other wiring stuff different? Many thanks!

  4. Have you reached out to the seller or Heritage about your concerns? https://heritageguitars.com/pages/contact
  5. Some people like me don't even use the hardshell case unless its just for storage. I use a Mono gigbag for transporting as they have the best of both worlds for gigging. Protection of the headstock and neck like a hardshell case, but easier to grab and go with a shoulder strap.
  6. The aged Heritages started four or five years ago, long before the CC lineup existed. So you can find both Standard and CC that are Artisian Aged. This particular example ss a standard core H535, you can tell by the lack of inlays in the headstock and dot inlays on the neck. As early as 2023, Heritage changed the headstock size for the Standard Core to be the same as the custom core. Plus CC only have hand-wound pickups from the factory. This one was $3499, the CC H535 starts at $3999 Looks like you cannot buy this one now anyway, and if rumors are true, you won't be able to at all
  7. Yes it says it is artisan aged NOT custom Core so AA not CC Don't know about the scratch guard.
  8. Hi, everyone! I have my eye on this: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/H535AADLB--heritage-artisan-aged-h-535-electric-guitar-dirty-lemon-burst-sweetwater-exclusive The SW price and the headstock make me think the guitar is a standard, not a CC. It has Seth Lovers, which is what stirs my interest apart from the kool finish. Information is welcome! eljay
  9. The cases have changed. The new ones aren't TKL, although of the 5 other Heritages I have, only 2 are classic TKLs. The one with my old 535 is different from the TKLs for my 157 or 140. In the past dealers could buy the guitars without cases and add whatever type they wanted.
  10. Shouldn't affect what you are getting.
  11. My buddy just received his first Heritage guitar. It is one of the last of the current H535s. Unfortunately, there are issues. One of the issues is that it arrived in a very cheap Chinese-made case. It is one of those crappy, almost rubber-feeling Chinese cases with the cheap, very gold-looking latches that sheds black fur. It’s a case that might come with a cheap import guitar. Is this a mistake? Or, has Heritage really cheapened out? I heard that Heritage started having cheap Asian-manufactured guitars built. Maybe this case was supposed to go out with one of those? My H535 came in a much better case. I think it may be a TKL. I would be concerned that this Chinese case would quickly designate if gigged. The case actually looks better in the photos than in person.
  12. Yesterday
  13. Like in my statement that you quoted, they are coming tomorrow. I do not have a week. And what does "Do Dah…" mean?
  14. Wait a week. I NEED a Heritage bespoke banjo! Do Dah…
  15. I noticed that both the 530 & 535 are discounted when I was checking out the Dave's Guitar Shop site.
  16. I was asking because I have two new H530s arriving tomorrow. If the headstocks are going to be changed, I want to refuse shipment.
  17. A flying V banjo would be pretty cool!
  18. They are coming out with a full acoustic flying V and line of banjos, or the bespoke program will be back. My guess.
  19. Yes, I meant H-530 and H-535. I’ll see if I edit that in my original post (unfortunately, it appears I am not able to edit my original post. That being said, I think it is fairly obvious what was meant). The current iterations of the H-530 and H-535 have definitely been discontinued. I am not sure how picking one up a month ago or them hanging on a wall in a guitar shop refutes this fact.
  20. There is definitely something happening on the 25th. Maybe they are changing the headstock designs of the 330 and 335 to the Custom Core designs.
  21. They couldn't have discontinued the H300 and H335 because there are no 330 or 335! Are you thinking H-530 and H-535? I just picked up an H-530 from the factory a month ago. They had both types of guitars hanging on the wall of Ren's pickin' parlor.
  22. I was at the Heritage factory three weeks ago, and I didn't catch any talk about anything happening on the 25th. Speaking of headstocks, though, I did notice that some of their new standard models are now sharing the same headstock design as those found on the Custom Core models. I asked Mike about that, and all he said was "yeah, many of the new models now have the newly-designed headstock." That's about all I've got.
  23. I have now heard from numerous sources that there will be a major announcement made by Heritage on September 25th. I have also noticed that Heritage has discontinued the current iterations of the H300 and H335. Does anyone know what may be going on? I've heard rumors of a possible headstock design change. But those are just rumors and as of now are unsubstantiated.
  24. Last week
  25. Thx @skydog52 I played it this morning. I played it this morning. I was deeply rewarded. I’ll try to record some samples over the weekend and post them.
