Considering Heritage's old guard only made a few 12s they most likely did not consider having "capos friendly" added to the ingredients. When I ordered a Prospect with p90's it was obvious they modified the standard humbucker pickup cavity to "FIT" P90s but the lack of rings to adjust height was a compromise. Doubt it made sense to alter the neck set angle and the top curve as that would be considerable.

What I find unique about the Roy C is the neck joins the body around the 17th fret. Notice the bridge lies high up between the f holes. Assume? More comfortable to play with less of a reach to the nut? Thoughts?

like the newer headstock don't notice the horn as much until you post back 2 back. Weights?

At 14 years I had the opposite of that ghost built, an old harmony that was unplayable. Kids today are so lucky/ family encouragement. Back in 1964, you know the Beatles were a fad, so no value was attached to guitars. Will got an accordion because Lawrence Welk now that was real music, plus the ladies loved the Poka. To have such a fine instrument to gift your grands, that's a lump in the throat.

68 Les Paul Gold Top. My 2006 H150 Goldtop plays and sounds kind of better but does not have the prestige (wanted Humbuckers in 68) but they were only on their custom at that time Had a 60s Tele Had a 60s Epi Texan Had a 61 Strat Had 66 Ric 12 string 360 also a 12 string 450 -

Just cleaned and restrung my 575 from flat wound Ti Swings to round Ti BeBops 12.
Pickups are ThroBak SLE 101MXV
Now I get the ghost hum/buzz only through the amp (changed cables/changed amps/change guitars) so it is only from this guitar. It's not a grounding issue or mechanical issue. Could be the same issue you had so I ask..
If you had to do this over... assume it is a potting issue... how would you proceed.
Have not gone to my tech guy.
