Got the guitar from BMG today. A little scare was that UPS dropped it off at the wrong address. Brian had the correct address on the label. Anyway, we found it.

Great shape, wonderful medium neck. Seths. This has the RS Guitarworks Vintage electronics.

9.6 lbs.

It has Ernie's 10s on it. I will probably push into 11s territory sometime.

With the Seths and the Vintage electronics I expected it to sound great with clean settings. Absolutely. It's the best I've heard for solid body jazz.

Someday I'll try adding a little gain and driving it. Not today.

I've posted the pics before, but for those who must look:

BMG was great to deal with. Stand up guy. Couldn't have had a better transaction.

Who is BMG?

I know most are thinking "Browning Machine Gun" of course. That's so WWI!

BMG is a HOC member from the Detroit area.

I really love that look in a 157. Mine's a black beauty and I love it to death, but from presentation perspective if I ever decided to trade mine it would be for one like this... Among other things, somehow, in my old age I've become partial to seeing the wood shine through..

Just so I'm straight on this; BMG is on the HOC, and was at PSP; Were his license plates BMU on an MR2, or BMW on a Q35? PDQ, let me know, or I'm SOL.

(Check out the license plates pics from PSPIII towards the end of High Flying Bird's photos before you think I'm TOTALLY nuts!) :smile_mini:

Hi, BMG here.

Mark I'm really happy you like the guitar! I have to admit it was tough to part with but I just found myseld playing my 535 all the time.

Now I see her, I miss her!

Enjoy.

I haven't been around here too long but have really enjoyed all the posts. Maybe I get a chance to meet more of you next year at PSPIIII

Thanks,

Brian

i almost bought a H 150 that color 1 time...it had monster flame, but was beat to S**T!!!

I know that it says blue burst on the label, but I haven't seen one like that before. Usually they're blue to black or neptunes.

I just couldn't pry yours away.

Don't we have the same finishes? It's been a while since I've seen yours.

I know you got me beat on switches.

Most people associate BMG with Brian May Guitars, Inc! Thanks for the clarification.
