Well UPS didn't show up until almost 19:00 today. It had been marked out for delivery since 05:30 this morning. It was a long day of watching the UPS tracker.

Anyway, it's a 1988 H-162. It is in unbelievable condition for a twenty three year old guitar. I've seen guitars in worse condition called near mint.

The seller was very conservative in his description and I am more than pleased. There are just a few very minor dings in the body, and a barely noticeable ding in the “put your eye out” headstock. The neck is straight and clean. Everything works perfectly. I'll post a tone report once the new strings settle in. I'll have to ask The Bird to take some better pictures. But here are a few of my crappy ones.

Congrats Dave!!! That guitar has some cool mojo. The shade of white/or creme colo gives it that retro look. Enjoy your rare find! Like the pearl inlay dots! That seems unusual, too.

Nice one ! Kahler Floyd Rose ?

Thanks. Kahler on this one. But the Spyder was licensed from Floyd Rose.

My Parsons Street came with a Floyd Rose and I swapped it out for a Kahler because that's what the Heritage catalog said they came with in '88.

But then I talked to Ren and he said they did make some with Floyd Rose, so I now think the FR was original becuse it does fit better on the posts, but the Kahler looks better.
