I googled Dean Guitars. Lots of young women play Dean guitars compared to Heritage.

Dean owns some very female friendly guitar brands like Luna and they make some really nice, affordably priced acoustic guitars too.

As you can imagine, the affordable guitars are not made in the USA but for $500 you can get a very good sounding acoustic guitar.

I bought a Luna for a friend of mine's birthday like this... http://www.lunaguitars.com/acousticproduct/gypsyshalott.php

Chicks :) dig Martin's Taylors Gibsons and all the cool stuff. There is no such thing as gender specific guitars.

Girls and women tend to like the same guitars as boys and men.

Traditional looking Yamahas, Corts and Washburns will attract more attention than a similarly priced Luna.

Its not what I meant how ever. Dean uses lots of partially dressed woman in advertising. When you google images of Dean guitars thats what you get.

I think I'm going to start a new thread, guitars that are chick magnets.

with due respect to our female HOCrs.

by the way, those Luna short scale acoustics are good ones.
