jmac Posted July 29, 2010 Share Posted July 29, 2010 Since we've had a post on the best Heritage if you could only buy one, I was wondering what the best Heritage with P90 pickups would be. I already know I can't just buy one. Any suggestions on what the next Heritage shuold be? Already have a 20th anniversity H150 and a 535 with HWR/vdip. Jazz tone in spades! Warm, rich, very deep. I've testified about this box before. Middle position honk for chunky chicken Jimmy Nolen rhythm. Near-Tele bite at the bridge. I delight in that Super almost daily, at the house, but It's not a "working" guitar for me. Very, very special, though. It'll be at PSPIII.... I've looked through the gallery and other on-line dealers and have not found one with a pick guard yet. A local dealer, Joe's Music, has a red 137 but no pick guard. I think that looks sweet! That's a custom made pickguard by the forum's very own Cryoman. Word is he has just a small blank or two left. Shoot him a message. He may be able to hook you up. No guarantee, but can't hurt to ask.
