The 59s were 8.3 Neck and 16.4 bridge. The 60s are matched 7.4 neck, 7.6 bridge, I have a set of Shaws that are great, but these 60s are just much better than anything I've had or used...and they sat around in a drawer of mine for years! What exactly do you mean by 60's pat sticker PAF's? I ask because I recently started this thread to talk about what they call T-Tops, a late 60-s early 70's pat number bucker. michaeljames Posted May 22, 2012 Author Share Posted May 22, 2012 thanks all ~ the late Gibson 60s Pat Sticker PAFs were the 1st generation : after the original Pat Applied For of the late 50s/early 60s... and before the Stamped Pat # T-Tops of which I believe you refer. Mine are Gibson late 60s Pat # on sticker on bottom plate of pickup. So, originals had "Patent Apllied For" on sticker, next generation had "Pat #" on sticker, next generation had "Pat #" stamped on bottom. At least thats what I've been able to gleen over the years. michaeljames Posted May 22, 2012 Author Share Posted May 22, 2012 great info! fwiw ~ looks like mine are the 1965 that have no 'T' on the bobbins, both bobbins black, etc... they really nail the tone in the '88 H150. this H150 will be the closest i will ever get to an 'original' 59/60 LP i'm concerned about what happens to it when i take the dirt nap! hee-hee!
