Still looking for a killer priced one here.  There’s something about the twin that speaks to me.  They’re mostly a “move once” behemoth with a lovely sound.
Congrats & happy NADs!

Congratulation on buying a great amp.  I had one for a long time with no issues.  Sold it due to it's weight and a bad back.  I do miss it.

It's got a marvelous clean tone! It's on a roller stand now so moving it around the playing space is not too bad. I was intrigued to learn that the Twin has much in common with the mighty Showman amp!

One of the best rock and roll tones that I ever heard in my life was a very early 70's Les Paul Custom plugged straight into a '68 Silverface Twin. Some guy had traded it into Guitar Center and a very good guitarist friend of mine who worked at the store for a while was checking the pair out. It was after closing time so he cranked it and it was awesome. Total rock and roll!  If I could afford it at the time I would have bought the combo on site.

I have the same amp, a 2006 reissue, cover and all. Yes it’s heavy.  I also have a Super reissue and a Deluxe reissue, as well as a Supersonic 60. I must be nuts!!!

Supersonic 60 was a great amp I should never have let go.  The Super Reverb is my second favorite amp, just behind the Bassman.

Had an SS60 too.  Let it go when Soldano appeared in the collection.  I’d imagine you sold yours when you got the same.  I kept the bassman.

I saw Johnny Winter in a medium size club and he was playing through 2 Fender Twins with JBLs stacked on top of each other. That's 170 watts of power through 4 JBL 12s. It was loud. Good times.

But the SS60 has a bassman channel!!!

I've only played a Bassman a few times. I used the SS60 on the Bassman channel exclusively.  I sold it to buy a Blues Jr...  Hindsight, not the best idea....

I know, but at the time, the amp was way too heavy and too loud for what I was using it for... wish I'd kept it, but it was a big, heavy amp.
