It's Time For Another "P90 Porn Thread!"

Lots of pretty guitars on this thread. All I can do is look: I've got p90 guitars, but no Heritage's with P90s, which I really regret. When I got back into playing, 15 years or so years ago, one of the first equipment moves I made was to buy a rosewood fb strat, then trade the 3-bolt maple neck strat I had owned for years for a 135, then junked the P-100s for real P90s. I knew I wanted a thinline/semi with 90s, cause at the time I was playing a lot of 50s RR and I knew that was the sound, and, at the time, the 135 seemed like about the only way to get there. So, I guess I could claim that I wanted a 525 before there was one. Since I've grown to love that 135, despite some major warts, she's not going to let me pursue a 525 or 530, though I love the look of those guitars. Oh well, sort of like being married, but I can still enjoy the (guitar) porn.

Yeah, my photography skills suck; fortunately, these guitars, DON'T

when i see guitars next to pools...i get paranoid...your pics are not bad at all...i have seen much worse on other forums. As a whole the HOC has some pretty talented photographers.

So you prefer a "dry" signal?! Sorry, really bad, but I couldn't resist...

A bit late to the game. Still, here's my Custom Prospect sporting Phat Cats. Not true P90s, but SD says they are, so who are we to argue? Eh??

I LOVE everything about that guitar; the bound headstock, trap inlays, the tuners, finish, and, of course, the P90s! VERY cool, I can see why it's your favorite.

No worries, Will. At least you had the decency to hide the headstock. :biggrin_mini:

Is that one of the Gem series? Sweet looking piece.

I hope I got the right one. Hey Kuz, that 535 (I think (1st pic) is sick. That breed of tiger stripe must be on the endangered species list.

Thanks Git, its the only P-90 equipped git that I have. I stole it from a music store, used (looked brand new) for $600 including sales tax. It was the first really nice electric I bought. Glad I had the sense to keep it, it plays so sweet and those pups sound so bluesy.
