big bob
I'm having a dilemma, I'm going to practice tonight, 6-10 we are planing on going through 25-30 songs, 2 long sets for our next show. Mostly rock. I usually take my franken champ set up with a 6l6 12 watts or so through a 2x12. Pedals are simple a big box Dlx memory man and a Soldano GTO, (thanks Steiner). Here is the problem which two guitars to pick. Here are the choices Stat Dlx 140 custom 3 humbuckers w/bigsby 150 custom 3 singles 170 custom 3 mini hums w/bigsby 357 Tom short buckers w/bigsby 575 prails 555 Seth lovers The 170 has been calling me all day but it is by far the heaviest. skydog52
170 + 555 Seth Lovers Good core training with the 170!
schundog
Triple Nickel (anyone who says they can't rock doesn't know what they are talking about) and the 357. That thing is so light, sounds killer, and has a neck I could play all night long. Have fun, Lance!
pegleg32
357, don't need anything else.
FredZepp
The 170... because you desire to play it .. and the Stat Dlx, for some hard rockin'////
H
575 for P90 and single coil sounds, 357 for humbuckers. Done

DetroitBlues
That 357 is so well balanced and comfortable to play, I'd go that route!

big bob
I went with the 170 and the 357. They both played like butter. It was nice to switch to a super light guitar from time to time.

big bob
We went 6 to 10 with one 10 min break. Let me tell you that's a long time to have a guitar hanging around your neck. The 170 sounds great but it gets heavy after a while.
