ESchmidt
I usually don’t care for blue guitars, but those look classy! Great eye and thanks for sharing!

Yooper
I loved hearing him gush over his Kenny Burrell model, playing its first gig. He sounds just like we do when we get a new Heritage. Back to the basement for me. I have standards to learn.
TalismanRich
Some really nice playing there! Just the thing to get a glass of spirits, a few snacks, and pull it up for an evening on the big screen.

skydog52
John E. Lawrence is a Great Player and even Greater Man. He was head of the Music Department at Washtenaw Community College for years. He retired from there a few years ago and is having great fun with his music now. I try to go see him when ever he plays out. Not many opportunities this year but I'll get back at it after Covid is over. He has a lot of guitars and a lot of Heritage's. At one time he was a Heritage Artist but they are not doing any of that now. http://johnelawrence.net/

DetroitBlues
Definitely does make me want to learn the style. The tone is so creamy, yet clear. Amazing stuff. Looks like a George Benson Signature Fender Hod Rod Deluxe?
skydog52
Check it out at 33:10. John is talking about the Kenny Burrell model, good story.
Steiner
I took a Jazz guitar course from John E. some 40 years ago. To this day, I remember him instructing us to tell a story with leads. Give ups and downs along the way and finish with a big crescendo. I have absolutely NO idea why he passed me...
