Pedal board ...so far

Put this board together over the last few days. 
Pretty much my old gig board with similar pedals.
I used to have two timmy's, one on all the time slightly above unity with my amp.
I will give the Duke of tone a good try as a replacement for the second timmy.
The Jetter Red2 is rock and swamp and each works out as a solo boost for the other. Red is Marshall and blue goes from transparent to thick and swampy.

MS3 is trem, delay, etc. I used to have two DD7s 105-120ms/350-400ms. I can do this on the MS3. The only other pedal I used was a trem pedal.  The MS3 as delay and mods should work out fine. I used to use it as a switcher and fx controller.

The title included "...so far"

The Duke of Tone is redundant. I did have the Prince of Tone back in 2012-13, I didnt like it and sold it. 13-14yrs later I couldnt remember why I didnt like it so I bought the Duke of Tone.
This time around, I dont dislike it, it just isnt what I want. The Red2 although a different circuit and intent fills the spot much better...and that sparked the memory of why I sold the Prince of Tone back then, it was because I bought and used the Red2. 

Still doing circles.

27 days later: I like the Duke of tone pedal! It displaced the Jetter Red2.

Duke of Tone displaced Jetter Red2... but then, the DoT was displaced by a MXR timmy and two Danelectro Timmy clones, 3 timmy's!!!... and also an on all the time Line 6 Constrictor set to the mellow/LA-2A setting

Rest of the board is EQD sea machine and 2x delay (short analogue, long digital)

 

Its not the finished thing, but it is finished for today.

I like the redundant boost approach. I use three. A Spark Mini as a clean boost or to raise my Fenders up to the same level as my humbucker equipped guitars. An RC Booster for light gain and sparkle, and a Timmy for heavier gain. They all stack well too. I may add another Spark Mini after the Timmy as a dirty boost.

My band pedalboard has 3 drives and a fuzz!

Origin Effects Revival Druve Custom - my basic tone always on!!!

Origin Effects MidEQ Driver - adds thicker mids and gain for solos!

Sex Drive - Clean Boost when I need it to punch through!

Analog Man BC108 Sunface - for Fuzz - for getting fuzzy!

While I have a pair of Timmy's, I only use one at the moment.  I use my Digitech Bad Monkey as my solo boost through an effects loop, only works on my Peavey, it doesn't work on my Marshall.  I will try it out on my Kendrick this weekend.

Here's the flow:

Front of Amp:

Boss WL-60 > Dunlop Wah > Boss TU-3 > Xotic Compressor > Wampler Terraform (pre-effects loop side) > Timmy v3 > Amp Input

Effects Loop: 

Joyo Gate of Khan (Noise Suppressor) > Wampler Terraform (effects loop) > UA Del-Verb > Digitech Bad Monkey

I tried one of those Boss units for a hot minute and found it too confusing to run the way I wanted it to.

Ive had boss and other brands multi fx units since the late 80s. Around 2012-14 I had both Kemper and fractal gear. Ive kind of just been around the technology as it evolved through 80s-2018 and Ive just gone with it.

The MS3 and a TC electronic Modulator is all I have remaining as far as digital multi FX goes. I bought the MS3 in 2018, I barely used it.

I've got a Digitech RP355 that I picked up years ago.  I thought it would be nice to simplify things and just have one pedal.    I played with it for a month or two, and it went over to the corner.   Occasionally I'll give it another shot, and I soon get frustrated and move on.   

The old PodXT was better.    

As much of a pain as it is to transport it,  I still like my individual pedals.

I gigged the PodXTlive  for a while. Ive mostly used individual pedals, a few ods, a modulation and two delay pedals. Variations on that.

The three pedals on my board that are the most important are the Revival Drive, which is my core tone, the MEQdriver, which is my lead tone, and the Space Echo which is always on and beat timed to the song I'm playing. The rest of the stuff (other than the tuner of course) is just icing on the cake. I only use trem and reverb on one or two songs a night. And the Sunface, an excellent fuzz, doesn't really get the use since I got the MEQdriver. And I don't really need the sex drive if I have time to dial in the two other gain pedals for the venue I'm playing in. And actually I could get away without the MEQ driver if I have time to dial in both sides of the Revival Drive, because it has variable mid boost, but the MEQ driver is easier to dial in my lead tone with on stage. Frankly I was always a plug straight in to the amp kind of player but this band of mine covers a lot of different tones in the songs I write, so having the pedals makes it bit easier because I'm not having to tweak the amp from song to song. 

When I record the song demos though, I almost never use pedals. It's just an amp, and an attenuator if I'm recording at night. I almost always prefer that tone to pedals.
