  2. How can you tell an assembly line version vs a Marv version?
  3. Today
  4. If you could score one for $2500… WOW. That would be amazing. lol.
  5. So, your saying this is a gateway amp for pedals?
  6. 51.50 and a pack of smokes is the traditional joke.
  7. last I heard was about $3.50 and a pack of smokes
  8. I like the SF better: they are excellent amps for pedals SF twin is all over "dark side of the moon" for example Beatles "let it be" too I let an amp tech convince me to blackface my SF and I was disappointed in the results
  9. Oh baby! That is a very nice price. It reads like it is well broken in. is the silver face as desirable as the 64(?) black face?
  10. Yesterday
  11. There’s been one for sale near me for the last year. It’s a Silverface MV model that’s been completely refurbished. No affiliation. I’ll send you a PM
  12. My guess would be whatever a person was willing to sell it for.
  13. Wondering what one would need to pay to get a marvbird, not an assembly line 357?
  14. Congrats, that's a beauty!
  15. I miss my '71 twin reverb. But I don't miss moving it around 😁 I have a musicman 112 combo now
  16. Whoever designed that HOC logo deserves kudos, nicely done!

  18. I have flats on my H575 and Country Gentleman, they work well for those . My 575 has Seth's .
  19. Again, that depends on the maker. The info said it's using Alpha pots which are decent, and polypropylene caps really aren't that much cost... a few pennys, which shouldn't be an issue on a guitar in that price range. It appears that they aren't using the generic ceramic humbuckers that most Chinese manufacturers install. They're Alnico pickups. I'll bet they will be similar to what GFS sells for <$40 each.
  20. With the level of rework you perform on any guitar you have, I'm sure it will be a good instrument in the end. One drawback I can think of for these Chinese imports is low-end electronic components.
  21. Against my better judgement, I’m gonna try one of these. I will report back.
  22. I also missed the inaugural meeting. Unfortunately, there were some issues at work that necessitated me being there. Didn’t get out to my first one until 2013. I also made it to the following, and final “Barn” year. Man those were sweet!
  23. Very happy with the results with round wounds. Definitely more of the pickup character comes out. Especially with guitar volume at max or close.
  24. I have a Heritage Standard H-137 that I purchased in 2020. It was built in 2018. The P90's in this guitar (I think) are Lollars. The guitar sounds great to my ears and I have no plans to change out the pick ups. A great axe!
  25. Don’t get me wrong. There is no bigger cheerleader than me for Heritage-America. They are superior to the imported models. These are for the global market and getting a foothold in the more affordable area that Heritage never had from 225 Parsons St.
  26. Years ago I played a Yamaha Weddington with chamfered heel and a belly cut and I have lived in regret about not buying it or another ever since. There never seems to be one for sale anywhere in the world when I remember to look. I didnt realize these Accent models had those design features until this thread. Nice guitar!
