What do you do when you finally get around to putting the rig together you've always wanted? There for a while, I found myself chasing a Voodoo Lab Hex audio loop switcher for a decent price, but found I alrady had the tools to do what I wanted using a Voodoo Lab GCX Ground Control Switcher I already had which had been sitting for years. So I gather all my toys, meaing rack gear, and bought a 10U rack to hold the main items then went about diagramming how I could interconnect everything and switch in gear, while bypassing other preamps in the loop. For the most part, I could never appreciate putting a lot of tone sucking pedals in front of that first tube. If they are on the front end, they are generally for distortion and that base is already covered by the preamps themselves, so I lean mostly towards time based rack effects, finding it near where I go. Kind of sick of the days of too much. I should appreciate Eventide, but really can't stand the over processing that sound wet to the point of being unusable. Here is my rack rig and each preamp has its own unique voice and feel. The 2x80W Egnater designed power amp is in its own rack with enough space to allow cooling. I play the setup in stereo through a single Egnater Tourmaster 4x12 cabinet with V30s and keep the amp level maybe at 7 o'clock or just barely on, not 7 on the dial.

It is amazing. Wonderful through any amp but extra special through my mesa 5:50 + into a 2x12 ported cabinet. Like a slightly darker 50 watt twin reverb, wonderfully big, clean and warm 6L6 goodness.

I think I've only ever seen one other in person, one with the "Gumby" head, and that was totally unplanned.

Ive been looking for Stats and Parson Street models for the last month or so. Parson Street model never shows up anywhere! That one is really nice.

It is a Parsons Street with the more normal head. I swapped out the EMG active pickups, 'cause that isn't really what my ear wants...

All great looking guitars. The grain on the first one!!! That last one, is it a Stat Deluxe hard tail or Parson Street hard tail?

As far as looking at the wonders of wood, definitely this one As far as sounding... probably this one, which is an employee personal build with Burstbusters. I did the pickguard to see what I could do with fiddleback As far as exotic...

Mostly because Marv’s DNA is all over this one.

Plan for next year is to give back to all those who have helped me through dark times so I can retain what I have but make whole of what I possess.

Here is a pic of my new axe. Purchased from Sweetwater. Just love the color. I have played both the H530 Custom and the H530 Standard and there is quite a bit of difference in the tone (at least to my ears). The Std sounds a bit more compressed while the Custom has a very articulate sound. The guitar came ready for action right out of the box. No adjustments needed. I had to post a pic from Sweetwater because my pics have too large a file size

Any guitar that goes through my hands will play like a beast, Factory original this on was one of my favorite sounding too with the Antiquities... A Real Winner!
