brentrocks
GAS got the better of me once again! I prob wont have it until Wednesday, but i already have plans for it! Its a 2007 H157 Classic in Black with gold hardware. Single ply cream binding, Graphtech nut, ebony board with block inlays, bound and inlayed peghead, SD custom custom in the bridge and a SD phat cat in the neck. I plan to put a black poker chip on it as well as a 3 ply B/W/B G style PG on it and a black ring for the bridge pup. It was a tough deal to turn down....it seems now a days that any H150/H535 under $1500 is hard to find.

Steiner
None more black! I like your plans. You have an eye for guitar aesthetics.

rwinking
Not sure what you meant by a black poker chip....
TalismanRich
I can't wait to hear the Fat Cat in that one. I've been thinking about the humbucker sized P90s and what they would do in the H140 or 157.

Conneazoo
Not sure what you meant by a black poker chip....The large plastic washer that has the words rhythm and treble is referred to as a poker chip. It's situated around the pickup selector switch.
pressure
The poker chips I've seen said "Ginger and Mary Ann".
Gitfiddler
Nice snatch, Brent. I really like Phat Cat in the neck of my solid Korina G&L Bluesboy, so I'd imagine in your solid Mahogany/Maple 157 it will sound killer as well.
brentrocks
This baby is a beast! 2007 Heritage H 157 Classic. The 157 classic is a no frills version of the 157 standard. No multi-ply binding on the body and peghead. No bound flame maple pickguard. But it still features an ebony board with MOP block inlays and an inlayed peghead. This 157 is loaded with a Seymour Duncan Custom custom in the bridge and a Phat Cat in the neck. This is a GREAT combo!!! The neck has a medium/chunky carve to it....not 60s thin, but not a baseball bat. This guitar oozzzzes rib-rattling tone....its super fat and snappy.
