Return of Heritage Accoustics?

There was some speculation at PSP when some eagle eye observers noticed some accoustics in the plant.

Today Heritage “leaked” a photo hinting towards this possibility.

What is not known is where they are made or if they are Heritage or Harmony..  (Assuming Heritage)..

They have listed openings for an acoustic luthier in their job listings.
It has been there for a while.

Not surprised.

Obviously building acoustic guitars wasn't a priority with the original company.   I remember lots of discussions about someone like Godin making the bodies, and adding Heritage necks.

SweeLee has a number of Harmony acoustics on their website, at prices similar to the Ascent guitars.   That suggests to me that they are Asian builds.

They should get Jimmy Page to endorse it, he used a Harmony Sovereign on the 1st Led Zeppelin album if I'm not mistaken.

People go nuts for anything he's ever touched. I think even HE couldn't find stuff anymore, after talking about it.

Not sure of the date but it looks so much like yours.

Well that would be even cooler if it was a Heritage acoustic. I just assumed Harmony for some reason, and the body shape looked similar

I did a bit of gamma correction to give a better view of the headstock itself.   Now, is this going to be a commercial product, or is someone just making a personal guitar, or something to show at an upcoming NAMM show?   Heritage has always done a bit of customizing for the shows to show their abilities.

I wonder if NoSnowBlower has any insight.   He seemed to have an inside track on things.
