brentrocks
Picked this up on an impulse buy...not sure if i'm gonna keep it, but it sure is a great piece. 2008 Heritage H110. The H 110 was designed by Chris Gates, Heritage employee. This is the standard "chambered" body, upgraded with traps. This was probably one of the first H110s. One piece mahogany back, one piece mahogany neck, monster flame maple top done up in Vintage Wineburst. Rosewood board with traps. Seymour Duncan Antiquity pickups, Grover tuners and locking Tone Pros hardware. This Heritage only weighs 7.25 lbs!!! It has a medium/med chunky neck. The frets are like new. It has a fast, low action. This baby has some war wounds....a few dents and chips, the worst chip is right next to the controls. The binding has pulled away from the top slightly inside the bottom cutaway...these are just cosmetic issues, the neck joint is perfect and there are no structural cracks or repairs....looks like it has been played a little. The tone is INCREDIBLE!!! It came in a gig bag...so I will be looking for a case for it soon. All in all, it was a good buy....I may have a hard time letting this one go. brentrocks
Thanks for all the kind words everybody! I'm typically not one for chambered guitars....i'm a firm believer in "weight = tone"......this guitar is beginning to me rethink that theory. Tone report coming up soon.... MartyGrass
Hollow = tone also. The chambered guitars, the Millies, the semi-hollows. They're all fabulous.
CJTopes
i was looking at one of those that was for sale a while back. Couldnt get past the master tone set up. But after looking at this one I may be able to get over it. Hopefully I wont have the funds if that one goes up for sale. She's a beauty!!! Vanschoyck
Watching your video it occurs to me that between your new 110, the 150 hanging on the wall, and your amp, you have a rather high-brow compliment of gear going on there.
