Doug
I've never seen a Heritage guitar with a maple fingerboard. Seems like they could make something custom if somebody ordered it, but I don't know. Maybe it is kind of a stupid question, but I was just wondering. TalismanRich
I don't know that maple would look right on the type of guitars Heritage is making. Maybe on the old Stat, but that's a dead item. Personally, I like ebony on the Heritages and maple on the Fenders.
Steiner
Doesn't Jaques have a maple fretboard, hockeystick Heritage?
rwinking
H-162’ had maple necks. We don’t hear much about them but I am using mine more and more as I am in a band where it is appropriate. I found this vid:
DavesNotHere
I had a white 162 with a maple board. I'll have to dig out a picture.
TalismanRich
Ah.. the 162. It makes sense on that as it is in the "strat" family. BTW, REALLY nice playing on the video, Rwinking!
pressure
Well played Mr. Winking.
LK155
I have listened to that very creative video many times and was always under the impression that it was Jaques playing. In fact I have hazy memories of PMs to the man himself regarding his approach to soloing. Here he is again..............
JeffB
Made me think of the 70's LP Customs with the maple fret boards. I thought they were kinda interesting when they came through. They always attracted attention. I just cant get on board with the Custom headstock. https://reverb.com/au/price-guide/guide/3444-gibson-les-paul-custom-with-maple-fingerboard-1976-natural
rwinking
Sorry about any misunderstanding, That is not me. That is Jacque playing the red 162. Although he and I are of the same vintage and so are our red 162s.

DetroitBlues
That would be interesting on a H150 or something like that. Probably never happen.
