yavuz
I pulled the trigger and ordered a custom shop Heritage Millennium Ultra Std. I made some modifications like gold top, 1 pickup only, no inlays and a pick-guard. Here is a photoshopped version of an millie reflecting my mods... yavuz
Now that's a looker! I thought so too. I developed my photoshop skills just to see what it will look like when it is finished. Hopefully it will look even better than the pic. I modified the millie ultra photo at Heritage's site to get it looking like this. My inspiration came from my Heritage 575 at this pic. tulk1
That is a very unique Millie. Should make for a great jazz machine. Nice to see some Millie love happening.
DetroitBlues
Love a naked ebony neck.. If I ever have a chance for a custom order, a bound but bare ebony board is what I'd do too.

tulk1
I have changed the flat back to solid carved mahogany, thanks to this forum. I did not know about solid carved back option before.... Thanks to everyone... Yeah, baby!! That will be the stuff, right there. You know, you loose the little access plate on the back for fixing/changing electronics. But I think it's worth it. yavuz
I don't know how much it looks like my photoshopped stock Millie pic above but this is coming along nicer than my imaginary pic above I think. 2 More weeks and it goes into buffing. You guys at Heritage are just wonderful. Double pleasure today. My album just came out: http://www.esenshop....l.aspx?id=67610 And here is my custom Millie in the making

I want that guitar in my hands now!!!! I have to wait for a while since it will be shipped to a friend in New York first. Then, someone from friends will bring it over here to Istanbul So, I will walk around with painfully short finger nails for a while...
