RhoadsScholar
Was able to work something out to acquire this amazing 1999 Blue Super Eagle. Had one that I got from the HOC (a natural one) that I let get away. I know this one has changed hands and traveled coast to coast, but I have always admired it from afar. It sounds/plays as amazing as it looks....

Vanschoyck
The photos don't reveal any play wear at all, and there's no strap button, almost like it's barely been used. It's beautiful and I hope you enjoy it!

Gitfiddler
Now that you've got the blue guitar, the perfect book for you is..."Blue Guitar", the Scott Chinery blue archtop master build project by Ken Vose. "Shortly before his death in 1995, Jimmy D'Aquisto - then, as now, considered the greatest guitarmaker of all time -- built a lightning blue archtop guitar, the D'Aquisto Centura Deluxe, hailed as a masterpiece for its profound simplicity, sensuous lines, and mythical blue color. That guitar inspired its owner, collector Scott Chinery, to challenge 22 of the world's finest luthiers to create their own interpretation of the Blue Guitar. The result is perhaps the greatest collection of archtop guitars ever made. Blue Guitar captures the unique beauty of this unparalleled collection with gorgeous photographs, a cutting-edge design and layout that echoes the lean sensousness of the guitars, and interviews with the guitarmakers, many of whom have dedicated their lives to finding the place where art, craft, and music converge." http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Guitar-Reference-Ken-Vose/dp/0811819124

RhoadsScholar
As much as I loved this guitar, I had some unexpected events occur and Mark (MartyGrass) worked with me to acquire a different instrument (I added a new post), at least I can say I once owned that Blue Super Eagle. Thanks Mark, I owe you one (actually, more than one, but who is counting )
