guycalleddave
Scored this off facebook marketplace and it was hand delivered to my house. How can you beat that? It's good to be a heritage owner again as it's been some years. I think it was a case queen. There was no fret ware but the frets were filthy. Hit with 0000 steal wool, oiled the pots, oiled the board, new strings, intonation, adjusted to action, and ready to go. Question now, does anyone know of where to source a replacement curved bridge pickup ring with the 2 screw holes for a HRW? This one is cracked in the middle. CJTopes
Nice score! My Dc has been my go to guitar for a while now. How much did it set you back if you don’t mind me asking?
bobmeyrick
Since HRWs are based on Schallers, my guess is that any shop/dealer selling Schaller hardware might stock the correct pickup rings. Failing that, it's worth remembering that Schaller/HRWs have three holes in the mounting leg, so you could probably use a standard one-hole ring. Nice guitar, by the way! davesultra
Yes, you can use standard mounting rings with Schaller/HRWs’. I have done that before.

ElNumero
Good job. Just out of curiosity, I have never heard of oiling the pots. Oiling the fretboard, yes! What exactly does that do?
